| At the 2oo7 East Central Regional Rally held at Johnston Community College, the Hunt FFA Chapter stood out once again by taking home multiple awards and trophies. Hunt FFA members were recognized for numerous top placings in competitions that were held earlier in the year. In addition to these awards, Hunt FFA Chapter President, Karen Coleman, recieved 2nd place in the region for her Agri Entrepreneurship Proficiency Award and she advanced to the state level. The Ag. Mechanics team, Nursery/Landscape team, and the Extemporaneous Public Speaker - Chris Speight, all placed well in the region, and they too advanced to compete at the State FFA Convention in June 2oo7. Members from the Hunt FFA Chapter also competed in various other CDEs, but were just barely unable to advance. There was CDEs such as Forestry, Intro to Horticulture, and Floriculture.
