Welcome back to a new semester & a fresh start!
The Hunt FFA Officer team would first like to wish everyone good luck with this semester! We hope that you will find something that you are interested in and maybe even compete in some of the wonderful Career Development Events (or CDEs) that the National FFA Organization has to offer. There are many upcoming CDEs that will be taking place this semester, such as tractor/truck driving, livestock judging, agricultural sales, and much more! If any of the available CDEs interest you, talk to either Mr. Dudley or Mr. Emerson for further information.
Also coming up in February is National FFA Week, celebrated annually during the week of President George Washington. The Hunt FFA will have many fun things for all members to do during that week, including a game night chapter meeting on February 22 from 6pm to 8pm. We encourage everyone to grab a friend & come out to support the Hunt FFA.

If you are currently not a member of the Hunt FFA, we encourage you to come out and get a closer look at all the good things that FFA stands for. FFA has changed the lives of many people through the hard work and dedication of its' members and officers. There are many leadership opportunities that are also available that will help you to not only lead others, but also to help make you a better person all together. Plus, the National FFA has something to offer everybody. If you are a high school senior that is planning to attend college, the extracurricular activities that you participate in through FFA look good on those college applications! Talk to your FFA advisors today about what FFA can do for you!!!

Our past events, such as our past chapter meetings, pictures from years past, competition scores, and even older newsletters are posted on the archive page, found on the upper right side of this page. Please visit our site and let us know what you think about it and also our program at our message board, found in the left side bar on this page. On our message board you are capable of seeing what others have posted about us and our program, and even submit your own ideas to help us out a little. Your efforts keep us going!!
We have a page set up especially for National Convention (and other such events) on our
Archive Page. We hope that you will take the time to view what we had the privelage to see while being away from campus throughout this year, and previous years. We had a very successful year this year, and look forward to another successful and eventful year!

For more upcoming events, check back with the website and also take a peek at our bulletin board down the 300 hall to see what all the FFA has in store for you! This year is going to be such an exciting year! We look forward to seeing you guys at our fun events and community outreach programs as well!

Please feel free to browse through the Hunt FFA Website, checking out the pictures and the calendar of events. If you have any questions or would like to send comments or ideas about things that you would like to do as an FFA member, please contact Mr. Dudley, Mr. Emerson, or any of your 7 FFA officers. Thank you.

State convention is a fun way for FFA members from across the state to get to know one another and fellowship. Also, the State FFA Officers are installed as the former officers retire. There are many leadership events that go on, as well as inspirational speeches that are given. If you are interested in joining us this year, please contact Mr. Dudley.
Many Hunt FFA members made a splash at the NC FFA Rec. Camp. Rec. camp is held each year at White Lake, NC in June. At camp, members compete in many sporting events such as softball, basketball, volleyball, waterball, soccer, tug-of-war, ping pong, putt putt, horseshoes, shuffleboard, swimming, canoeing, track and field, and even checkers!! Each morning, member must be up bright & early to do morning exercises that ensure that each member is WIDE AWAKE! Members also experienced team-building sessions, talent shows, a camp social, they met many new people from across the state, and enjoyed the historical White Lake FFA Center. FFA Rec Camp at White Lake is a fun way for new & old members to get out there & stand out in one area or another. No matter what year you are here at Hunt, FFA camp brings out the fun-loving side of everyone!!

Wilson County Fair!
Each year when the Wilson County Fair comes around, people fill with many different thoughts. For the Hunt FFA, it is another way to bring home trophies! Each year the officers go out & put together a fair booth to represent the theme of the fair. The compete against both Beddingfield & CCS.
In addition to the fair booth, Hunt FFA picks two of its most talented members to run a rigorous course in tractor & truck driving competions. This year, both Carly Fulghum (truck) & Tyler Lamm (tractor) did so well at the regional level, they were able to advance to the state level competition, held February 4, 2010 at the State Farm Show! Good Job & Good Luck you guys!!
